Title: Hey. New to NCKA
Post by: 49ersfan on November 16, 2013, 08:20:22 PM: Bought a cheaper kayak a few months ago (were a good amount to me, but compared to the ones you guys have its super cheap! haha). A pescardor 12.0 and my sister a emotion stealth. I worked at sports authority so got them for good prices. Took it to a smaller lake once to test it out.
Have browsed on here for a few months and decided to set up.
Plan to fish bay area lakes, then maybe an ocean trip occasionally. All this crab talk is tempting me right now though :smt003

I live in San Jose. Going to school in Hayward. And travel to Tracy once a month.
Look forward to being on here and learning some stuff.
Then meet some of you once I know at least a little bit so I dont embarrass myself!

And there is nothing wrong with your boat, its the same mold as the WS Tarpon 120. Confluence owns them both and used the mold with the older fittings, hatches etc. My wife has one and I used it yesterday at Timber Cove. Outfit it for safety and the type of fishing you want and enjoy. I hope to see you OTW.

And remember to go out a few times without any gear, push your boats to their limits, and practice self rescue. You may wanna wait until it heats up though... lol..

Remember, This could save your life some day.

And thanks guys. I do have to practice self rescue.
I have a cheap PDF but scouting eBay for a better one.

I bought the second yak for my sister. But it's going to end up being for a friend when I go out most of the time. :smt003

Hopefully by summer I'll have a little knowledge!
