I got 2nd place a few years back, got a 8 pound+ rainbow.

Second place is pretty good considering the number of people that attend the derby!

There are some monsters in that lake! My friend caught a 24 inch Rainbow using a Kastmaster a few years back. A few 9+ pound Largemouth Bass have also been caught in that lake!

Caught on a fly as well.  My buddy was standing in his pram and saw it, told me where to cast, and boom, fish on.

I'll be out there on Monday after the event.
