Capt. Tom from Half Moon Bay (retired party boat captain) hand carved this GWS from a red abalone shell. This was awarded to Sean White / Scwafish for his efforts against the MLPA.

I'm really glad to have made it out, having missed the last two years of awards.  It was a really great time, and of course, the grub and grog were fantastic.  Would liked to have mingled around and met everyone but with the great turnout, it was tough to catch up with everyone.

Congrats to all the AOTY winners and participants and to Aquan for the great raffle!  I got a kickass paddle jacket!!  Some of those handcrafted prizes were REALLY awesome!

Thanks Bill for the great forum (and the ride home) :smt001.

Can't wait to fish with you all in '08.

Sounds like a fun time had by all.  Sorry I had to miss it. :smt011   Thankfully we won our soccer game otherwise it would have been a double bummer.

Thanks to Martin for picking up my gear.  Lots of cool little goodies.  Not sure if the soap thing is a gimmick.  Look forward to hitting some water with you and many other NCKAers this year.

:smt010 I am so so so sad that I had to miss it... :smt010
I even started work early but it went too long (left Marysville at 1:30) :smt013 & the wind was pushing my little car w/ scupper like carzy..., so I had to bail.
Ashley even made an awesome chicken pasta salad too... :smt009
looks like you guys had a great turn out... I'm so jealous... :smt011

so did I get the goodies too?  please, say yes, somebody!?

It was an awesome time and absolutely great to see everyone there.

Congratulations to all of the winners and sponsors.  Special thanks to Aquan for allowing us to have the schindig there!

Those plaques and drawings were beautiful...we sure do have some great artists in our family.
