OK, so they aren't "barndoors" but for calihalis they are ptreety good.

whole squid in 100+FOW on Sunday. Fish ended up 38"/21lbs and 32"/13lbs
water was supposed to be SCA but it clamed off nicely from about 9-noon.
Got major WAF point for these two :smt002

right? I was super stoked to get these in September. They're about as close to a bear as I'm likely to get :smt005
Gonna fire up the little chief and try smoking some of the meat.

as we came in we did a drive by of the wharf and main beach, and there was a skiff right off of main beach that had about a 15# fish on the gaff. I held up mine and there was much congratulatory whooping between the boats.
