I will be getting a Brand New T13 in a few weeks or so and I want to make sure everything will fit and work properly. Would any FF transducer fit in the scupper install? or do I need to purchase a separate install kit? I would appreciate some input of the T13 owners of which FF you guys have install. links and pictures are encourage. I want to see what options I have to work with. I'm willing to spend up to $500 on a FF.

thanks in advance.

Joe

Hi Joe, I ask the same question just months ago. I ended up buying the Elite 5x HDI by Lowrance. As far as the scupper installation I did it myself and will dig for the pictures when I get home today. Did they make any changes to the scupper hole designed for the transducer in the newer models?

i have a t13 with a 385 fish finder that uses the XTH-9-20-P (scupper transducer). it works great without have to do a water bath inside the hull.

click on the compatible with to see what FF is compatible with this transducer:

http://www.humminbird.com/Products/XTH-9-20-P/

if you want do a search because this subject has been talk to death (t13 transducer). you can also go with Lowrance and get the scupper mount for it. careful because not all the lowrance transducers will fit inside of it.

i'm sure bill will come in and chime in about the Lowrance

Just to give more color: 688ci HD uses XNT 9 20 T. But 688ci HD DI uses XNT 9 DI T, which is larger and would not fit into scupper hole of my Trident Ultra 4.7.

On the t13 you can use a 688ci HD if you use the transducer I posted. You have to purchase that separately. I personally dont know if the fishfinder will fit in the sonar shield area. The biggest ff ive used in t13 was a humminbird 525 in my fish sonar shield and it worked fine

I bought a T13 from Ravensblack. He did the install for the humminbird 688 ci. A very, very awesome install. The head does not allow the sonar shield to close. It is so close but just doesnt quite close all the way. I would ask him for adcice, I can send pics when I get home in a week.
I only fish on days that end with Y
