Well done, that is definitely an undertaking! I did the same for my much smaller Subaru EJ25 about 6 months ago.

Bravo!!! Amazing-looking rig too that you can now drive with confidence knowing she'll hold up! Definitely something I'd like to do one day.

I think Mike sold that RV last summer.
If so, the buyer got a nice engine.

doh, didn't realize this was a stale thread...dang, the buyer definitely got a good rig.  Was hoping to see it at one of the tourney's.

I often go to a yearly get together out on Dead Cow Lake bed, and a number of guys bring older RV's that they've gone through, cleaned up...and built the engines - fun to see an RV with real muscle.

Sorry, I'm still catching up on threads from when I was away from NCKA :smt005 Find quite a few good discussions that seem worthwhile to bump.  I was blown away by Mikes rebuilt engine, like a work of art after all that work.

Better drive it now while petrol is relatively cheap!

LOL. Forgot I even posted this.
Sold the beast in July of 2021.
Decided to go in a different direction from there.
Discovered the Mammoth Lakes area and have been having a blast!
