Al~
Funny that you got one. Becky's just showed up Friday. Ordered it online from Walmart of all places. Got a 1 gig SD card too, all for $315 delivered.
Bet you will be seeing a lot more pics of me now that she has a camera. Not sure if that is a good thing or not.

That brown is probably the biggest fish in that lake.
Job well done!!!!!

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Re: NEW KAYAKING PRODUCT
« on: July 10, 2006, 07:52:28 AM »
We are calling the product RoRow's.
Pairs have already been donated for raffle at the HMB tourney, the Elk tourney, and the Neah Bay tourney in Washington.( North West Kayak Anglers )
See you there. Probably not Washington. Someday though.

Just look for the only guy wearing speedos on his kayak. That's Mooch aka Joel.

9456
SWEET!!!
I will try to score some today!!!
Thanks.

I like the set up.
What kind of line is that you are using to attach the hooks? What do you coat it with?
Are your hookups equal to those you would get with the jig as it comes from the store??

This is what I use. It can also double as a lip gripper in a pinch. I have also used it to tow another kayak as well.

If you go to Caples you can park along the side of the road near the dam and have maybe 20 feet or less to put your kayak in. From that spot if you look along the shoreline away from the dam you will see it jut out about 50-75 yards from where you park. There are some very large boulders right near the shoreline there and some very big fish hold in that area.
Bring your nightcrawlers. If all else fails this is your money shot.

What are the stats on the butt??
great fish Mooch!~!!!!!!

Go with the 3mm. It is always easier to cool down rather than warm up if you have to. 3mm gives you more padding, more protection, better floatation, and is warmer. If you get hot you can put your legs in the water to cool down. What do you do if you get cold??? We know the answer, but I would rather take advantage of the full front zipper on the 3mm than to keep it closed to warm up a 2.5.
