Been using JB weld on the keel for years. Works great. Easiest to apply when warm outside.

I am amazed at the lack of urchins. Great vid.

I'll bet after cutting it up there won't be a scrap the size of a gnats ass left.
How much does that sell for in the restaurant when they pay over $5000 a pound for that thing???

General Fishing Tips / Re: Line Spooler

Get a small enough diameter bolt that will go through your spool.
Make sure it's plenty long.
Now get 2 nylon washers for that bolt and a wing nut for the bolt.
Put a washer onto the bolt, then your spool, the other washer then the wing nut.
Finger tighten it so the spool will not spin on the bolt.
Put the remaining length of bolt into your drill.
You could put a pencil through the feeder spool and use your finger to apply pressure.
Hit the drill trigger and fill your spool with no twist.
Takes up a lot less room, and assuming everyone already has a drill, a lot cheaper too.

They don't even they classify it as a kayak based on the name BOATworks.
I think if they called it KAYAKworks they'd take too much flack from the community. Just my .02.

That was a long ass read that went super fast because it was interesting. Thanks for the story. Felt like I was reading a Samuel L. Jackson script.
