Jigging for macs. Edit: plan A is launch at Tallic hostoric site dead end of Tallic rd. If it is closed for the season we will launch at beacon bar and grill around 645. Will be getting coffee at Starbucks at the 50/89 split first.

Will be fishing from 100-200 fow. Metal jigs light braid and a long 8lb flouro leader. Mark the fish on your FF. Drop a jig in their head. Reel them in. Easy in theory but not so easy in execution.

Radio 69. Sam and I will be there. Olive revo and blue outback.

Sounds awesome.  Would totally be in to try this but that's a 4 hour drive for me.

Good luck!

Update. Sam says that there are better bathrooms at the Tallic historic site. I’m not sure if it is open still but we will be at the dead end of Tallac Rd first, but if it’s closed we will launch at Beacon bar and grill.

Fishing was slow with none landed. The Tallic site is open until it snows in but the bathrooms were closed. The macs are probably in spawning mode and shallower/rockier areas than I was fishing.
