Thanks guys! FWIW, I saw a bunch of baitfish jumping out of the water near white gulch. Probably some bigger halibut moving in soon.
Launched outta Miller yesterday. Conditions were incredible. Like a lake all day. The usual afternoon wind never picked up. The guys fishing live bait did really well. The bite started slow but really picked up later in the day. Saw some really quality butts landed. Guys were limiting out and saw a few in the 10-15# range. I only got one but luckily it was a keeper 24". Was trolling frozen herring with dodger. Wish I had live bait. Those guys were killing it
A jerk at one end of the line waiting for a jerk at the other end.

I trolled all day in the south bay and caught about a dozen shakers. Missed a few other bites as well. My first trip on Tomales this year without a keeper.

Setting up for a win, how far south?  We're attempting north for the first time ever. :smt006
“I’m going fishing.”  They said, “we will go with you.”

I sometimes go all the way down to Inverness. Of of Lawson's, I would concentrate my efforts in the small 6'-8' channels between the sand bars

Any recommendations on over night camping spots out there, I have a roof top tent and would love to just set it up on a beach but I didn't see much in dispersed camping or blm in the area

You can camp at Lawson's Landing right in front of the water.
