I've been using these Trokar Siwash hooks, they are insanely sharp and lasted the battle with my 10ft Thresher, hooked in the tongue.

I’ve switched over to Mustad stainless steel “Beak” (similar to Gama Octopus) and/or Open-Eye Siwash hooks for all my salmon rigs, rockfish/ling/halibut bait rigs, jigs, etc.. Pretty much all my saltwater stuff with the exception of swimbait heads (which just might be Mustad stainless anyway).

They’re plenty strong, barbs are easy to mash down (they bend instead of snapping), and they last a REALLY long time. I just tied up some salmon rigs with hooks that I’ve been using for 3-4 seasons already. Just rinse them well, let them air dry, and sharpen as needed (they aren’t super sharp out of the box, but take a point really well).

Good to hear, I have been switching out to Owner hooks and some of the Trocars, when I can find them. Still have a few of the Gamakatsu's but I think I will be using them for other things. The Gorilla hooks look like you could pull a Volkswagen with them, but their sizes are towards the smaller end of the spectrum. a 4/0 Gorilla looks like a 8 in almost every other hook size.

I got sick of rusted hooks on my salmon gear.  I was using the Gama hooks this year for all my salmon gear because they were sharp out of the packet.  But they rusted after 1 use and I got sick of re-tying new rigs/hooks every time I went salmon fishing.   So I switched over to stainless and learned how to sharpen my hooks.  They don't rust and I only have to re-tie my rigs whenever the line gets damaged.

+1 on the Mustad stainless.  https://johnssportinggoods.com/
