For Sale / Kayak Trailer $175 SOLD
« on: April 08, 2019, 07:48:04 PM »
For sale: Kayak trailer.

I bought this trailer back in the 80's to haul our ATV's. My father in law added the bars and racks to carry our kayaks. It's funky, but functional. Worked great to haul all of our kayaks on family outings to the local lakes. Now we're downsizing so it needs to go to a new home.

4x8 deck. Lower bar has two sets of Yakima saddles. Upper bar has two sets of Rhodes Gear saddles. 1 7/8" hitch.
4.8-8 Tires. Includes a spare tire. I have the title.

Asking $175.

Located in Sacramento. PM if interested. Thanks for looking.  :smt006

Other Kayaks / Sea Eagle Products
« on: April 14, 2018, 07:06:38 PM »
I was bass fishing at a local small lake the other day. This lake does not allow gas motors, electric is Ok.

As I was paddling around in my Mini-X and doing my best to battle the wind, I noticed a gentleman cruising around in a nice little inflatable boat. The craft had an electric motor and the guy was sitting very comfortably on a pedestal seat. He told me he bought it from Sea Eagle as a package deal including the electric motor.

I did some research and found it to be the Sea Eagle 285. I also noticed they have some package deals available.
Doing my due diligence and reading reviews, some people say the Sea Eagle falls apart after a few years of service.  I'm not really sure if this is true. Then again, my wife told me I might only last a few years too. :smt044

My question to the group is, do any of you have any experience with Sea Eagle? It looks like a good boat, but I would like a little input as to the quality of the product.

Thank you,
Al

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Albion Pre-fish 2013
« on: August 05, 2013, 04:42:49 PM »
Headed out around 12:45 pm and stayed out for a couple hours. Fished around in the cove, then I joined Tote out by the buoy. Conditions were good with very little wind. The first pic says it all for me today. Should be better tomorrow. Good times just being here.
