Simply Fishing has been announced so it's time to reserve our group site again. I am going to cap it at 15 vehicles like last year. We need a minimum of 10 vehicles paid for Friday and Saturday night to reserve the site. Ocean Cove Campground does not take reservations for individual camp sites. Some of the years in the past the campground filled up making it difficult for people that arrive late Friday night. We do a quiet, low key camp for people who are not looking to hang out with the rowdy crowd. If you want to reserve a spot just PayPal me the $56 fee for two nights and I will reserve the group site on my credit card once we have the minimum of 10. Once I reserve the site I can only refund money if someone takes over your spot. Send me a PM if you want in.

I forgot to ask to include your screen name in the PayPal note section. Thanks.

Check out the simply fishing topic below to get all the info. In the past it was a tournament that restricted entrants to paddle only kayaks, no fish finders and everyone used the same lures. It sounds like there will be some changes this year.

The group area is a fenced in square of grass with several tables and fire rings. There is also one water faucet and two porta potties. Every year Raydon has used his fairly small trailer with no problem. However if everyone brought a 35ft trailer I imagine at some point they wouldn’t be able to drive in and get turned around because of the limited space. If you show up first like Raydon you have a lot of empty space to maneuver. If you show up after everyone parks their vehicles, pitches their tents and unloaded their kayaks I imagine parking a trailer could be a struggle. So I’d say it’s not out of the question but neither is it a slam dunk.

Ask Eelkram how wide of a RV/trailer will fit through the gate.

Raydon and I both have Casita trailers and they fit great. I remember last year someone had a tough time fitting through the gate. Or maybe the problem was the tree. I don't remember exactly.
