For anyone who wanted to swing by but didn't here' are some ghetto cellphone pics of the parking lot expo.  Compared to the last two years, I'd say the crowds were diminished in volume.  I did my part to boost the economy, bought a rubber promar, shimano citica combo, hobie turbo ST fin upgrades, and some thule accessories.  The shimano techs also wrenched on my Curado.  Thanks, Mel (and RIP).

The kids sure catch pond was pretty interesting.  I was standng next to one kid who jerked so hard when he went to set the hook that he damn near took my head off with his barbie pole - the bluegill at the end of his line came hurling past my face - talk about a flying fish!   :smt044   Lots of kids with parents having a lotta fun.

Another really cool thing, I met Gary Mirelles from Shasta Tackle Co.  I'd seen him many times on Angler West TV with Justin Wolf.  Really really nice man who does what he loves and obviously loves what he does.
