Location is a key factor, so do you store inside your hatch or outside on kayak?

Inside my bow hatch so it is out of the way, I'll rarely have to access it.

Inside my center hatch in front of my seat, so I can easily reach it.

Outside my hatch, last thing I want is to create more entry points for water

Under the front of my seat with a zip tie. I can slide it out without cutting the zip tie, although my bait knife is always on my pfd if I need to cut it.
