I Hurd about that I'm pretty sure I will be staying in the bay

That sucks to hear.
Was out Saturday and swiftly reminded how the weather can change out there.

Saw the jetski trailer head up hiway 1 after the wind started picking up and knew somone screwed up. THE WIND PICKS UP EVERY DAY BETWEEN NOON AND 230 LIKE CLOCKWORK ON THE BAY DURING APRIL AND MAY. Dont trust the forcast, just be prepared because it will go from dead calm to ripping wind within 20 minutes and dosnt die down till 5. Ive fished the bay since i could walk and learned your day is over as soon as you feel the first spit of wind after noon.
But it is sad to have this happen even though it is common, gotta feel for jis family. When in doubt dont cross the bar because it will always look a lot more friendly until you have a breaker inside your boat. Sit and watch for a few minutes, it can take 30 minutes of watching sometimes to figure out the bar.
