Year ago, I saw dragon boat races in Taiwan. Those things really move out, so it's surprising they'd get stuck.

Fish Talk / Re: Fish Planting Schedule 2017
« on: June 18, 2017, 05:38:16 PM »
One morning last week there were 2 DFW stocking trucks at the Redwood Estates exit off of highway 17, and they were transfering fish from one truck to the other. I'm thinking a truck might have broke down and so they needed to move the fish to the other truck to get where they were going. I wasn't close enough to see what type of fish, but they looked big. Anybody have any idea what kind of fish would be transported around here this time of year?

I haven't used a fuse for the last ~10 years and it's never been an issue.

After another test run, it seemed the bunks were a little low and could just barely brush on the plastic fender causing a vibration. So, since I had to take it apart anyway, I decided to upgrade to version 2.0.

This one uses gray PVC conduit, which is supposed to be UV resistant. This design is simpler and more rigid. The only tricky part was mounting 2" pipe directly on top of another 2" pipe (the forward ama support). I used some scrap 3/4" starboard plastic for that---might be easier ways to do that, but it works...

Nice setup. We've got a 7kw B&S and it's served us well for more than 8 years. It was a good move to upgrade to the 9kw, as 7 is just a bit shy of what is really needed for a whole house.

Just curious as to what gauge of wire they used for the 70' run. I've got about 50' now and would like to move the generator to a spot that would require about 75'...

Just curious, do you drill the thermoformed hulls just like plastic hulls?

Yes, but you need to be more careful, as it can chip or crack.

GS has a pair of league MVP quality players, and no other team can compare with that. If they keep the nucleus of the team together, they'll win another 4 or 5 championships.

Someone with an AI will be stoked. ...

That someone would be me if only I hadn't already spent my kayaking allotment for the year (three times over, actually...).
