Any chance of a Kokatat dealer offering bargains at the show next month? Maybe a good deal on a fish finder?

What gear will you be looking for?

Wondering if the trip out to Sacramento will be worth it.  Anybody have luck at this expo is past years?  Lots of upgrades on the wish list for me this year (rod, reel, etc...), and if this is a place to save $$, I might take a look.

I was there last year. I don't remember of there being many deals on fishing equipment. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

I mainly went for the seminars and to check out some stuff I haven't seen.
if I'm not fishing I'm probably thinking about fishing

The kayak talks tomorrow look really good, so I took the day off :smt001

I hope to find some deals and pick up a FF, (with all the fixins, battery, box etc...) and possibly a paddle suit. Maybe a VHF radio, compass, fish bag, bump board, collapsible crab trap. Perhaps a downrigger?

I did not see too many sales going on last year either.... but I ended up buying the KayakCity show model Compass a few weeks later for 200$ off. Was actually first time for me to see those heavy different fishing kayaks as I was ready to upgrade from my 300$ samsclub Kayak.
So, those kind of deals as well as the typical bundles will be offered if you look for new Yak.

Was cool though to see those YouTube fishing instructors in person, even though those events get pretty crowded.
For regular fishing gear sale its probably better to look for bigger sales events your favorite stores have. But its definitely a big show with lots of gear to check out.

That's a pretty god deal for a new Kayak. I saw a few "Super Bundle" type deals at the show, but I've already purchased mine. Got a decent deal on a Lowrance unit and a new rod/reel combo, and a couple other things.
