Title: Moke Float video report
Post by: MooMoo Outdoors on August 29, 2017, 08:27:10 AM
Matt (racer414) and I did a morning Moke (hatchery to stillman) float on 8/21. It was my first time floating in that section of the river and I had a blast. Matt was an awesome guide again.

When I lived/worked in Galt id fish that stretch pretty frequently. Lots of fun, and a few big fish hanging in the deeper holes with riffles leading into them. I always hooked the bigger ones back trolling a panther martin with a gold blade.

Thanks for the vid and post, it was a nice trip down memory lane!

Yea lots of nice fish in that stretch. I used to have most of them named and could pretty much call my shots, but the high water has changed things, so I've got to figure out their new hiding spots.

I actually prefer floating the section below. A lot less fishing pressure and less trash from the floaters

Seriously, Matt knew every inch of the stretch.

Have always wanted to branch off into small water fishing with my Revo. You have given me some inspiration.
