It was a tough day.  Fished Balsalt (spelling ?) from 7:30 am until 10 am.  No bites and one shore guy had a small striper.

Decided to go to the Forebay after lunch.  Turkey tails, BBQ pork and BBQ  chicken from the little market in Santa Nella.

As soon as we (Joseph and Ken [me]) got on the forebay.  On the third cast....I got a keeper 19".  Next cast I farmed a bigger fish.  Maybe a 20".
Hey, I said it was bigger.....

To make a long day short.  I released 2 other small stripers.  Had two on..... had a long released (farmed).

Joseph got a keeper and then lost my lure (my one and only secret lure)on a bigger one the next cast.  Good thing I got about five of them left.

We had wind all day and were going to leave.  We were at the ramp  at 3pm and the wind die down.  Took a short break and fish until 5pm.

No rain until we were loading up the kayaks.

Joseph,

Finally glad you have something to post.  We all have to take baby steps until we learn how to walk.

Always good fishing with you.  Next time we will start in the Forebay.

Got all of them on top water.  I showed you that lure the last time we were out at the forebay.  Remember?  If not I will show it to you the next time we fish.

It is sort ta like that Sabiki rig you used to catch you first trout with.  (Just Kidding).
