Red, White & Stripers...... Just for the Halibut!

People are signing up but we need more people on that list!

 game plan has been changed up a bit since this is all new to me and I put it out there for suggestions.

I've decided to make this an informal campout / get together, The biggest 3 fish wins cash prizes, we have access to the sportsmens club bar, free camping(this year) and a great place to explore new areas. You don't have to launch at this harbor to participate....
Fishing from kayak and shore fishing is allowed

Only One thing, I wanted to go by weight, but some folks are catch and release... Should this be a photo allowed event and go by length?
Or is everyone fine with keeping their catch?

Here are the basic rules:
1. Have Fun
2. Catch Fish
3. Bring the family
4. Tell fish stories(true ones)
5. Weigh in is by 6pm on Sat, July 15th
6. Potluck dinner at 7pm
7. Trophies will be handed out after / during dinner.

For photo pics, hand out an item to be included in the picture, to prove the picture was taken on tournament day. It's common practice. Length or weight have been used. If you're accepting pictures, length is the obvious choice.

Sounds like a good time! I got it on my calendar, but won't know for sure until closer to time!

thanks for hosting this but bummer I won't be able to make it. I have a bowling tournament in Las Vegas that day I was looking forward to this tourny too...hope to make it next year

I'm going to go with the picture option and throw in a special "token" to be in the photos for the event!

Unless something drastically changes I see no reason why me and the Mrs won't be there.
