8' 5wt with a wt fwd floating line for small streams, Going to try to get out and give it a go next weekend

Good looking outfit you have there.

If small streams are your thing, you might consider downsizing.  I have a 3wt rod and it makes 12 inchers feel like monsters.  TONS of fun.
