For Sale / Kayak Storage on Wheels
« on: February 12, 2021, 12:48:17 PM »
Holds three kayaks and one slot for SUP. Base is 3/4" plywood, enough weight and width so very stable. Pipe is 2" PVC, screwed together so comes apart. I have moved once, marked the pieces to put back together.

If I remember correctly the  4 casters/wheels were ball bearing 250 Lb. max load on each.

I also stored paddles, rods, hung PFD's, waders etc. on it.

For Sale / (Sold) Revo 16 (2015) and OK Prowler Trident 11 For Sale
« on: February 10, 2021, 11:13:53 AM »
Downsizing, wife says I can't buy the car I want unless I make room in garage.

$1500 for both, start your fleet -

Revo 16 has normal minor scratches, no options since purchased, vantage seat, standard fins and rudder

OK Trident 11- good light weight kayak to drag, carry to hard to reach places, throw in back of truck, reach streams/rivers/ponds. Needs handle on one side and one front seat clip, easy fix, although I have fished in it many times just the way it is, there is another spot to clip front seat.

Hey everyone Headwaters Adventure in Redding is working on a one day bass/trout tournament On Lake Shasta October 13, 2018.

DFW permit is in hand. Working with USFS to allow us to use as many pubic ramps as we can. We will be using IAngler Tournaments same as with the Shasta Bass Kayak Classic. Entry fee will be somewhere in the $25-$35 range, also looking at Junior Division.

Not going to be a lot of prizes/raffle etc. idea is to give kids and kayak anglers new to tournaments a place to try it out. Possibly you and your family can make a weekend of it on Lake Shasta and fish the tournament while you are here.

We also want to check out using public see how it works for the Shasta Bass Kayak Classic next March 9-10.

More details to follow

We have two larger events (15-20 veterans) on schedule, please mark your Calendars.

April 27 and June 22nd. Whiskeytown or Shasta, haven't decided yet.

I know the Rollins Round-up is on April 28, event will start fairly early that Friday, plenty of time to make it to Rollins, help as little or as much as you want.

We will again do as many one on one, single family events as we can. They will be scheduled as requests are made.

Don't forget about the Shasta Bass Kayak Classic March 10-11, this is our big fundraiser for the year, two day tournament on Shasta, Hobie Fishing 8 Worlds Qualifier, already have 44 paid in full with kayakers traveling form around the western US.

Any questions message me or email us at shastaca@heroesonthewater.org

Haven't been posting to much because I am busy fishing but with low flows in river and lack of rain fishing has been pretty good for trout, steelhead, salmon, smallmouth and various junk fish. Salmon return to the Coleman fish hatchery was terrible, but steelhead was the best it has been in 30-40 years. My longest salmon was 34", most the steelhead are in the 18-22" range, trout can be anywhere from 6" to 20" and I had a couple days where I couldn't catch anything other then 6" salmon smolt because there were so many of them for a few days.
