General Fishing Tips / Trinidad CA - Where to launch?

I have a place up in Trinity County and am gonna be there for a few weeks. I am wanting to hit the ocean from there. I can either go to Shelter Cove (4 hr drive) or Trinidad (2-21/2 hrs). I know where to launch and fish from Shelter Cove but have never fished Trinidad or Eureka.

Can anyone tell me where to launch from Trinidad? Is it worth it to try, or should I make the extra 2 hr drive to Shelter Cove?

I bought this Outback last year from rnrgeek and did not even have a chance to use it yet. It's stored at my friend's house in San Jose but he's moving so I have no place to store it. I paid Mike's asking price of $1900 and it's a good deal. Asking the same price or best offer.

I have a friend visiting from Boston next weekend and he wants to go fishing. Can anyone recommend a good boat that is not a party boat?
I think someone posted about a boat that that went out of San Rafael or Tiburon but u can’t find the post.

I'm going to fish either ARW or try to get salmon at HMB on Saturday.

I could use some company. Which will be more productive?

Ive never fished for Salmon off the Kayak.

Winds look ok for both spots?

I was up in Timber Cove on Friday and today. Headed home early due to too much wind.

According to the Windfinder app, it looks to be fishable in the bay on Sunday. (7mph)

I would like to go to either ARW or Berkeley Flats (which I've never fished).

I really don't want to go alone.

Is anyone else going?
