It's been a long time since my little truck kicked off the "how do you roll" page.
http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=14071.0

I recently acquired a rebuilt ICM and fired it up after 9 years. The plan is to pump it up just a tad so it rolls on 33s, rattle can paint it, lop the top and cruise through the summer of 2017.

Thanks Mojo!

this truck started out metallic blue from Ford, then went to Rust-o-leum blue, then to blue/black/white camo, until I went low profile desert tan in 2000 :smt005

not quite sure of the new color, but I may just do black. I 'd love to get some Piscean Artworks Research Vehicle magnetic decals for the doors. Or I may just stencil them.

thanks guys!
It was a watershed moment when I actually drove it a few weeks back. Still on Non-op status so only across the property, but I was super stoked.

dude! I had to clean the heater blower motor out 3 times since I started working on it last September. The frikkin' rodents would pack it full of acorns! I finally blocked off the cowl with hardware cloth and haven't had any problems since.
I did have to clean out a lot of rat turds and pounds and pounds of redwood duff from the roof rack. I drove it across the porperty and washed it last week. So much nicer to work around now!
I picked up a cheap car cover for it so now it should stay decently clean while in rehab.

the back hatch has serious rust cancer, but I plan on cutting that away. The interior was bed-lined years ago and is pretty rust free considering.

lots of ideas in the works, but I should have 'er driving on the streets by the end of summer.

Didn't my drifter fall off the roof of that thing?

Love the hood ornament!
