Good afternoon all. I am brand new to crabbing and been kayaking for about a year. Im planning on going to Moss Landing tomorrow for Dungeness.
Anyone have any pointers it would be greatly appreciated.
I️ will update how I️ do tomorrow.

Your from Felton your better off going to Half Moon Bay where you can get them shallow. It gets real deep real fast in Moss. Not to mention paddling miles north if you do so. Good luck.

If you get dungies inside Mbay under 120ft, you'd be the first!

In case you're not familiar with Moss Landing, you want to be careful wrt tides---the current can really rip thru the mouth of the harbor. If there is a big tide swing, and you time it wrong, you might not be able to paddle/pedal fast enough to get back in. And even if the current is in your favor, it can get very bumpy.
Be careful out there.

See the above comment, I urge you to listen to them (especially if you're a newbie). I recommend that you go elsewhere, HMB being my recommendation. Crabbing at Moss is boat territory.
