General Talk / Re: Russian Gulch fishing on 7/4
« on: June 30, 2022, 07:37:32 AM »
sorry for the late response -  I camped at Russian Gulch SP but didn't end up go fishing because of the winds and choppy water.   I'm planning to go back on 7/4 - water seems calm on Monday.

is any NCKA member planning to go fishing @ Russian Gulch during 6/23 through 6/25? PM if you are planning to.

the first letter means knife or sword.  the second letter means a bridge.  Together, not sure if it has any special meaning but it could be just a brand name for the product, IMO.

I've been trying to get some extra rod sticks for plastic welding for 2019 Mirage Oasis - Seagrass Green but few locations in Sacramento, they either don't carry spare rod sticks or closed for the season.  Does anyone have an experience with fixing your kayak (e.g. plastic welding) to know enough if any plastic will work or does i have to be certain type of plastic? I actually have my kids' sand toys which they have outgrown, almost matching the color of my kayak.   :smt005

I joined ncka in 2018 but this is my first post with an introduction.
My best fishing exprience was 2 years ago at Big Sur, catching fishes, heavier than I can carry back to my car. :)
