i usually launch out of ocean cove because its a much easier launch and peddle up to gerstle cove to fish. the only thing is the hill which isnt to bad but also stillwater is nice because its free and easy to get to the beach just need to get there early. if you have some people to help bring yaks and gear down gerstle is not to bad goodluck fish on and tight lines!!

with seasons approaching i really wanted to get some recommendations for a great trolling setup for ocean salmon and also halibut. what do you guys use? do you guys have a setup that can do it all? ive been using the shimano trevala paired with the diawa lexa 400 but would like to change it up this year and try out different options. any feedback helps!! thanks yall keep it reel and tight lines!!

Very excited to join the group I just started kayak fishing this year and I've been having the time of my life! So awesome to get out on the water with great people. I fish out of timber cove area and crab in bodega bay hope to see some of you out there!! Happy holidays! Fish on!
