Anyone planning on headed out to Sacramento DWC tomorrow?

I know it may be raining. Been itching to get out so I'm gonna layup and hope for the best.

Going to the beerfest or I'd go. Let us know how the fishing goes though, goodluck!

Ended up going today instead. Water temp was around 51-52, got up to 54 by the later afternoon. Marked lots of schools past the fedex area all the way towards the palm tree at 15-25  feet. (More than I've ever seen!) but couldn't manage any bite! I was trolling deep diving lures.

Also, met another member, Ryan. Good to meet you and hope you did ok!

The palm tree as in past Marshall? That's a long ass paddle. Good to hear you are marking large schools.

Did you mark any schools in the port itself?

Yeah. The stretch from Fedex all the way down to the palm tree was loaded with baitschools and fish. I should have taken a pic but I was anticipating a hook up because I had never seen this much fish together!

I didn't mark much in the port itself.

Water clarity wasn't too good and there was some more debris floating than usual, nothing too bad.

Oh wells. At least I got some exercise in. Lol.

Nice, probably shad schools or something. I mark them sometimes that take up a solid 20 foot water column. You just go on weekends? I'd be down to go give it a shot sometime midweek.

My friend fished the port Sat. and didn't score.  Lots of marks but the water is really stained.....visibility around 6 inches.......:(

I'm really guessing they were huge shad schools as well.

Unfortunately just free on weekends! Would be great to fish with you sometime.

Let us know how you do!
