So me and the pops TBONE SR. hit caples yesterday for a little recon before Sundays tourney, this was also going to be Dads first time out on a yak. :smt003 So on Sunday we went to the casinos and ended up staying out until almost 2am and we were gonna leave at first light to go fishing but after being out so late we decided to call when we both woke up. We loaded up and arrived at Caples around 8am to pretty calm conditions with a slight breeze but not a cloud in the sky! We launched at the boat ramp before the long dam it cost $5 for all day. I helped dad get into his yak since it was a sit in and right away he loved it within the first hour he was back paddling, turning with ease and trolling like a pro! I was stoked to finnaly get him out and now that he has hes hooked  :smt003 :smt002 I forgot my camera at home today will post pics later when i get home from work......Since this was a recon mission for the tourney I cannot reveal my strategies, tactics, or locations on the lake however I will share with you that It gets very windy and the mosquitos are huge and can smell you a mile away :smt013 See you guys sunday
