Welcome to NCKA! 

This is the downrigger I use. It comes with a Scotty mount. The adapter in the other photo is one way to attach it to the track. There are other adapters to mount a Scotty on a track. I would stay away from any tall single bolt mounts. The downrigger can be pulled hard if you drag your weight on the bottom.

I immediately bought the suggested setup from the folks at ACK, and when I get my boat set up in the next week, along with a lot of other little things to get everything dialed in, I will post a photo.

I use a Scotty lake troller with a two point mighty mount on a track backed with a stainless steel plate.

pmmpete has a pretty sweet setup and does a lot of downrigger fishing. He may chime in here, or you can find him at the sister site NWKA where he has great pics and tutorials on his setup.
