Title: Introduction
Post by: Jimshell22 on May 06, 2017, 12:40:27 PM
Hi my name is Jim Swathell and I live in Sacramento. I joined the the site months ago when I was looking at kayak fishing,  I'm not new to kayaking or fishing but I haven't done either in 25 years and never together. I'm ready to jump in and planning to purchase a Hobie pro angler next week. My goal is to fish inshore ocean and wanted to baptize my new boat at Shelter Cove, but came to my senses  and will take it out on flat what is the first weekend. Have plans to check my skills out on  Fallen Leaf Lake Tahoe. I'll post photos  when I have my kayak. :smt044

Welcome Jim!
I'm Sacramento as well and a newbie to kayak fishing. Been fishing the Port of Sacramento which has nice place to launch and water is pretty calm. You should check it out. Parking is free as well.

Snowhite - do you launch near the sailing club off Harbor Blvd in West Sacramento?
