Big Fish Pool Question

How does this pool work? I'm confused by the desciption...Do I need to catch at least on eof each species to qualify? Can someone please explain?

Anyone qualifies but in order to win the overall pot you are probably going to have to catch most of the species. However each species gets prizes for 1-3 places so a single big fish can get you a nice okuma reel.
