I know I should be fishing and not reading but this book about the Farallons is a great way to learn the History of the waters we fish from and better yet the habits and feeding patters of the Great White Shark. If anyone ever watch the BBC documentary about the GW at the Islands off our coast you will love this book.  Sometimes it makes me nervous about being out on the yak and sometimes it makes me realize that we are ok.

As for the divers up in Tomales, don't read it.

I saw the author talking about the book on O'Reilly the other night... looks like a pretty interesting book... now to find some time to actually read it... Hmmm... :smt017

The nutty kids I know that dive Tomales have already been visited by whitey.  One drive by, one attempted chomp...yikes.  They still dive there anyway.  They are nuts, but I love em.
