Sep 30 -oct 1 I'll be camping to take advantage of early morning and late nite fishing
One of the camp grounds will be closed but for anyone that wants to there will still be plenty of sites
The fishing should be solid all day by then or just come down for a day and enjoy
glade you made it
now let's get our fish on

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Congrats on the striper. Do the boils start to pick up better in October? I've been out a couple times in the wrinkle cove area but haven't had much luck.

The boils are almost all year long by September they are normally bigger boils that hold longer that said we have a lot more water this year once you find stripers you will have to work them pretend your bass fishing and throw everything at them until you figure them out  some days it's flukes others top water or jigging
The boils in wrinkle lately are bass
seen more stripers an the mouths of the fingers or up the fingers there are a couple of exceptional coves near the camping areas

Sorry no pic having a problem posting pictures

Oh ok good to know. Went out there for the first time about a month ago so I haven't explored the campsites yet but will have to go looking for other areas to drop in and find them.

Just a quick update on how thing went
1st I was called into work for the Oracal show all week including saterday and Sunday
The show is much smaller this year so I was cut loose around 3:00 pm saterday  I made the  drive from S.F. in 2 hours grabbed a few things and headed to the lake meet up with a few friends they decided Thai food sounded good and it was
We did some nite fishing from shore we had a few nibbles but no bits
Since they knew I was going to be working they chose to bring a power boat instead of kayaks this proved to be a big handy cap as Gonzalo
One year later has not installed his new fish finder
Wile we managed a couple of striper from the shore around six am
Once on the lake all I could do was take them to spots were they often hold no more striper were taken just black bass and smalls
Over all the weather was perfect we had a good time the lake traffic was light but there decision to take the power boat limited us greatly
Normally I could locate stripers and work them until I get a bit
Gonzalo says he will be installing his fish find we will see

One more thing when he stated his boat motor an alarm went of after several minutes trying to figure out what it was I got online  and found problem on the net
He had replaced the drive oil but did not burp it
Once it burped it was to low a quick trip to town fixed that
