Hi everyone I'm C Par (Caleb) and I just strapped my first kayak to my roof and I am very excited to hit the water. I also bought my first paddle so I won't be up a creek (thanks yakhopper). I am looking to get out on different waterways around the Central Valley, and super excited about getting out on the San Joaquin. I like the reservoirs a lot and finally don't have to rely on a friend to invite me on a boat so I can fish the other side.
Looking to fish this weekend, if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate any tips I can get.

Welcome to the Madness Caleb!  If you've met Yakhopper, you're off to a great start and in good hands.

Look forward to meeting you on the water!

WTTM C Par,
Glad to see you made it to NCKA as you will get a lot of good advice here.
Can't wait to get OTW again, but with Mother's Day this weekend and GS next week, I wont be able to hit local water till the week after. Give me a call after the 20th and we can plan a trip on the S.J. ..... I have a couple good spots ;0)

See Ya Soon,

Sounds good. Thanks for the welcomes. I feel like a kid at Christmas waiting to get out there for the first time.

Madness it is. Rod leashes, life jackets, ropes pulleys Scotty mounts. I need to hide receipts.

Welcome to the club, it's nice to see more members from around Fresno, and I don't know if madness if a strong enough term to describe it.
