Fish finder, Gps combo.

This is,all i could find on it besides a YouTube video and he said there about the same.   But mabey someone who knows on here can help with that question.

Been looking around for a new FF since my Garmin striker 4dv died on me after only a year of use. 

Anyone know the difference between the Hook 4 and Hook 4x?  Is it just the microSD slot?  Other than those, any other major differences?

My understanding is the 4X doesn't have a GPS.

Your welcome man.   I am in the same boat as you are but i cant fly under the radar i just go for it if i want it.  You cant tske it with you spend it and enjoy while  you can.   Like i tell my wife im not working to hoard away money so when i die someone else can enjoy it i work to enjoy the things i can afford while im here.

Cal, I have the same unit.  It rocks on the yak. You can buy 12v 7.5Ah batteries at Home Depot in the lighting department for sub $25.  They will last days on the water for that unit.

Hi Wes, would you happen to have a model number of the battery or name?

It's in the emergency / exit lighting section of HD.  Let me see if I can find it online.

Cal, I got my fish finder, but I wasn't expecting this. Sliced open like it was used or someone took something out. West Marine is sending me another one and returning this one.

Wow thats crazy! Mine was all there and not open.  Props on west marine making good on it.  Hopefuly they will compensate on tge extra time you have to wait now also.
