So, what do you usually bowl with the two-handed roll out, Terry? Due to the vids and being a spectacle, I’m guessing you’re doing well!

One of the reasons that my style is not appreciated or just not understood, is my approach to the game.
I play alone, could care less about my score, way more stoked over a wild spare than any strike, and speed. In a session, I will typically pound out 10 to 12 games and working in a zone between 19 and 22 mph. Fueled on rum and metal, I work into a full sweat and there are times that my composure is questionable.  More than any score, I get my stoke from pin violence. Last year I sent a pin up into the machine and it completely shut down the lane. The mechanic went back and removed the pin, then when he came out, presented me with the damaged "trophy".

Ill get the thread back on track.
Today I am taking the Coosa back and getting the Jackson Kraken to start the traction pad process on it.

Thanks Tote,  I did find what I was looking for and more. i went with a company called Northshoreinc.
I ordered traction pad material for 3 boats and a big sheet of mini cell to try and stack for added silence.
They also had the kite board foot straps that Ive been wanting to attach to the deck of the Coosa.
A one stop shop for these projects.
This weekend Ill try to get the half ass traction pad Jackson is putting on their boats off. Ugh

I feel your pain old friend. I picked up bowling and then decided that I am a 2 hander.
Its a blast but the injuries are trying to stack up on me. Life after 50.

Dude. You're a f***ing animal.  :smt006

My attempt to stack pads was successful. The Hydro-turf bonded well to the mini-cell.
Each material has its own challenges to work with, and I learned a few things on this project that Ill hopefully remember on this next boat.

If you don’t mind elaborating, I’d be interested to hear how the process and methodology worked out.

One significant rigging revelation that I had on this project , ill keep in my pocket for now,
but I will share a few things.

The mini-cell is significantly softer than the hydro-turf.  When I had the sheet of mini-cell on the deck, before the hydro-turf layer, the sound proofing was much better than after I laid down the hydro-turf on top. A lot of the value in this is the traction part and wet, slick, mini-cell could add to the challenge of standing. Anyway, the top layer needs to be softer than hydro-turf to gain any real benefit form using the thick mini-cell sheet.
The solution , I am hoping, is the black Conceal material on top of the mini-cell could be ideal state.
The Scupper14 might be the perfect boat to test on.

I went with the waffle cut hoping that it would be helpful on the rails to help keep the paddle and to help hold a hog trough in place.

This was my 6th boat that I have carpeted beyond just a shower mat and I am getting slightly more proficient. The simple things keep things moving smoother. Like choosing the right cutting tool for the right material and changing blades often.

The benefits by far outweigh the time on task and this is just a part of making my floating throne for fishing. This is just the foundation and as this boat evolves (on another thread) Ill be adding more silence stickers.
