Did anyone see last weeks WON (Western Outdoor News)?  PAL's article on Lake Mendo Stripers featuring Chris and his son made the front page.  Congrats to all.

Sean, I saved an extra copy for you.  I can mail it to you if you like.

John Walton of Walton's Pond, a local bass pro shop, was kind enough to give  me 2 copies for free.

Come on Sean... "Drove all over Ukiah..." That took all of what? 4 minutes?  :smt005

LOL

I checked my editions for your pics, but as PAL said, it must be in the Nor-Cal Editions only.

It took well over 15 minutes smarty-pants!  We hit 6-7 stores...no luck.  If I wanted a dirt bike mag I would have been in heaven.  This town needs a real tackle shop bad.

Sean,
I can guarantee you one frequent shopper if you opened a tackle shop in Ukiah.  Well...at least until I get married!  :smt102

Okay... Sean.  I mailed your copy today.  Let me know when you get it.  That picture of you an Chris on the front page is pretty sweet.

Now that the word is out on Mendo stripers, I wonder what effect, if any, it will have on lake traffic.  The article makes some nice references to Sean to and GWKC.

Sean, have you got any calls yet?

Chuck-Thanks again.  I wouldn't be surprised to see traffic pick up for a while, but the season is pretty much over so I don't expect the surge to last.  The lake is a pretty good haul from most areas (as you guys already know) so there are closer striper spots for most people.
