Erik,

You're not suggesting some sort of Tony Harding move on someone like Joel to make an openning for Bob are you?  I meant for this North vs South thing to be a friendly rivalry.

LMAO!

I think Bob isn't too worried about making it. His wife and his wedding anniversary is that week-end.

Bill,

Please put John Hog and Tim on the waiting list...we both don't have a lot of time on the internet so I unfortunately just saw the sign-up.

I'm coming to the Elk tournament from out of town and was wondering if there have been any midseason changes to the North-Central groundfish regulations?. I tried the DFG's POS groundfish hotline and it's busy 24/7. Just want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row. Thanks for any help.

Normally the following link is good for current regulations, although they seem to be a bit slow lately updating it (for example, Abalone is now open).

http://www.dfg.ca.gov/mrd/fishing_map.html

Anyway, as far as I know the groundfish regs are still the same.  Most of the inseason changes seem to happen in the fall as catch estimates start reaching the maximum sustainable yield quota limits (for example, greenling closed early last year becuase of this).
