Anyone game for a trip to SoCal for some lingcod? I'm going to try for March 8th - 9th.

I've never fished from kayaks down south. Any suggestions on good places to launch? Camping?

Thanks bros-

Hi.. I'm 15 minutes from Malibu and can recommend Leo Carrillo state beach is an awesome place to camp and then fish. For most part surf is 1-3 but you can time it.

Many areas to target lingcod between county line and decker area from that same launch. Or drive further south for a hundred other spots.

If your coming that weekend, may as well hit the Fred Hall show in long beach. Look it up if your not aware but it's fishing porn..
