For 50$ it kind of looks like it' designed for kayaks.  Kind of low volume though, I was curious if anyone has one and if they like it.  If keeping bait overnight, like for a FnC I usually go with a 5 gallon bucket filled to at least 3 gallons and put an aerator.  But a smaller load of minnows might work well for this 2 gallon while kayak fishing.

Well now I see that there are bigger sizes, I hope I can see on up close sometime and see if it looks worth it:  https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/frabill-magnum-bait-station

I was thinking about getting a small waterproof car trash can and one of those battery aerators for my hali bait this season but haven't pulled the trigger.

Oh nice, I like that rubber lid idea for reaching in and grabbing bait!  I'm hoping to see one of these in person, but think I may be stealing your idea  :smt044  I also decided I'd never buy D batteries again, and bought a 12v to 3v converter and am going to use a 12v car adapter or my Dakota lithium to power the thing.  :smt044

There seem to be much cheaper and better options out there.  Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll post whatever I end up with.

Has anyone had any experience with one of these: https://baitshark.com/catalog ?

I like that it won't need power when out on the water. But would still need a livewell/aerator for travel.

I've made my own bait tubes, and use a large floating bait bucket as well.  But I was thinking that sometimes might be nice to carry a couple dozen and not worry about them.  I'm not thinking for the ocean, then I love the bait tubes.

Good discussion on that bait tube and others going on here: http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=99782.0

I just recently received the one Paul recommended, for some reason it took over a month to get the 3 gallen size but it fits perfect in the Stealth so....stoked! It is aerator compatible and looks sturdy but still really light. I think it's going to get a lot of use this season and not just on the kayak, just the right size to chuck a couple things in grab a rod and head down the beach with. Plus bright orange so less likely to leave it someplace...right?

Don't like the insulated coolers because they typically don't leave much room for water/bait, however I rarely fish freshwater or warm locations from a kayak so keeping bait cool isn't so much an issue for me. If I'm trying to transport or keep caught bait overnight (which is also rare) I'll put the whole bait bucket in a standard cooler.
