EVENT IS LIMITED TO 20 PARTICIPANTS PER DAY PLUS VOLUNTEERS

Ok everyone. Here is the event you have been waiting for. We have confirmation that the lake is ours for 4 days. We will be inviting the vets to come on Fri-Sun. Thursday is our if you can make it there. Camping for them is welcomed/encouraged, as well as for all of the volunteers. HOW will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Sat. We would like to do an NCKA style potluck on Fri night. We will request that vets bring their own camping gear, but in the case they do nat have any, maybe we can bring a few extra things for them. We also would like everyone to bring their own food to fill in around what we do not supply. Everyone can use the HOW cooking gear if needed. Stay tuned for more details as we work them out. I will always update on this first thread.

This will be a good way to end the HOW season. We have had a great year thanks to all of our great volunteers.

Update #3   We need large coolers for drinks. Let us know if you can bring one please.

Update #4  We need a couple garbage cans. Can anyone bring 1-2? I will have bags.

Great news!! Looking forward to this one. I will be there on Thursday to help setup. Will bring a rake other tools to clean up the area. I had a great time on the last one there. Well help with the cooking or anything position needed.

Also if anyone knows any valley area veteran's organizations please let us know.

I won't be able to make this one as we will be out of town that weekend.  It's been a rough year for me to hook up with the best crew on NCKA, the HOW crew.  I'm sure hoping next year has better prognosis for me. 

I'm definitely making this one! Requesting the time off and will head home Saturday after the event. Been looking forward to this all year.

As much as it pains me to say this, I won't be able to make it either.  Having Eye surgery on the 28th.  Have to take it easy for 72 hrs after that.  Bummer

I actually seen this on facebook a few hours ago Rob. It is the same weekend my Dad and some friends go up to Mcswain for our yearly trout derby. I believe it is very near to you guys. Havent mapped it yet. Hope to drop by and check you guys out and maybe lend a hand or bring something. Thanks for posting.

Yeah Alex, its literally 15 minutes down the road from mcswain (if even that).  feel free to drop by after the derby.
