Hello Yakers,
Does this 10% off still good? Does it apply to used items?

Thanks.

I bought a paddle from them last week, they gave me the 10% off for being an NCKA member.  Not sure about kayaks, but accessories for sure!

As I thought, their San Jose store located on Saratoga is no longer.  Drove by on my way home from a doctor appointment today and something else was in its place so I checked the web and they are now only located in Fremont and Larkspur.  Never could imagine how they did enough business being in such a small location and down the street from REI and now I know.

The real reason they left is the landlord raised the rent, making it unworkable for them.

They said they plan on re-opening the store again, but have been finishing up their fremont store.  Jay is a really cool guy, knows his stuff.  Bought my X-Factor from them, and a paddle last year.  Great store!

I was wondering why I couldnt find the San Jose location on the website anymore. I figured they just relocated to Fremont, but I wasnt sure. I also picked up an xfactor, paddle, and seat from them last year. They were very friendly and Id do business with them again.
Too bad they didnt have a location closer to Stockton though.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Bill is correct, we just simply lost our lease in San Jose after 10 years!  The landlord wanted a substantial increase in rent when the rest of the commercial lease rates were being lowered.  Go figure.  We are now in Fremont right next to REI and Home Depot off of Automall and Fremont Blvd.  Although we may seem a lot further away from our old San Jose shop, we are in fact only 15-20 minutes north of the old store (without traffic  :smt001).  Please visit the new shop because we love to see all the familiar faces.

The new address is 43905 Hugo Terrace in Fremont, CA 94538 - Phone: 510-440-8888

The 10% deal on accessories is still good for all NCKA members at both the Fremont and Larkspur stores. See you all soon.

Are Thule racks that carry our yaks considered an "accessory"? :D
