the traction system i ordered a huge sheet from Hook1. it was expensive, but i think it will be worth it in the end

that's the first thing that came to mind $$$, but it looks sweet.  i only did the useable part of the deck b/c of $.  also saved the scrap pieces and put them on various places on the yak (rod stagers, seat frame contacts, paddle holder, etc).

do you use a center hatch insert?  if so, does it clear with the rods in place?

great idea with the foam/velcro.  my rudder also jumps out of place while transporting.

the rods i just put the reels a bit forward like up towards my transducer. if i don't the accessory trey won't go in.
