Now that I've had my Cuda 12 for a little while and have been getting lots of use out of it, I'm starting to look at getting it set-up for my needs. I'm basically looking for tips/tricks/ideas you guys might have for how your yak is set-up.

As of right now, moving the rod holders, making access to the center hatch easier, and a fish finder install are at the top of the list. But I'm open to suggestions...

Thanks
matt

In no particular order I added 2 8" Yakattack rails on the sides with 2 zookatubes. A lowrance elite 5 FF with the transducer mounted in the scupper under the seat. Rearranged the rear rod holders and added a ram ball on the center hatch. I still plan on doing the hinged center hatch lid mod and perfecting my hydration set up.

I added rails, fishfinder with ram extension and an anchor trolley for drift chute and a quick release anchor system.

The rails are perfect for switching out according to your needs. rod holders/gopro etc.

I would steal Mike's idea for hatch management.  Simple but so useful.

I think the following are the most used mods I did on my Cuda 12:
  • (2) 4" YakAttak Rails + Zookatube
  • Mounted Elite-4 on 1.5 ball up front (the one that came with yak)
  • Crate with 3-rod holders (don't really use the tubes that came with yak)
  • JK hatch drop-in container
  • JK mesh net pockets by each side of seat

I've done quite abit rails, scupper mount, go pro mount all kinds of crap. My favorite are the mesh pockets linked above and my center hatch hinge.

I hated the way that thing opened

Thanks for the pics. I agree, I'm not a fan of older center hatch lid. Not sure if I'll modify the one I have and just get the 2014 lid. I want to see it in person first and see if it will fit my needs.
