Thanks Nufo.  For the stats, we hooked this one 2 hours after the top of the tide, and I think there was a pretty big tide swing to a minus tide that day.  There seemed to be some amount of fish in the area, and as the tide went down we saw/heard more and more jumpers.  Bill was swinging at every twitch I think.  We did pull in once mitten crab (properly disposed of), so there are some bait stealers in the neighborhood.  Still, swing away!  The guy at the lauch told us the fish tend to stack in the deeper pools when the tide goes down.  I'm not sure we located a defined pool, we more or less just stuck to the channel.  There were some PB up-slough of us so perhaps there are some holes up there worth exploring.  Nufo, check in here often.  I paddle a double kayak and am always looking for someone to paddle front.   Perhpas on our next Alviso foray, you'd like to join us.

Man I'm just starting to get into kayak fishing(don't even have a yak yet) but with the talk of catching sturgeon in Alviso yall are going to make me go get a yak tomorrow. I live all of 5 miles from Alviso and have been wondering ever since I moved over here if fishing there was any good. What else can be caught in that area?
