El Gran Taqueria was the spot to hit coming home from HMB. Haven't been there in a few years, but their hot sauce/salsa was what kept me coming back. Decent parking too.

If your path takes you through San Mateo after a day of fishing, try hitting Jack's Prime.  Good hamburgers and the y serve beer.  It is a new place opened a few months ago.  GF and I have been there a few times, good food and sweet potatoe fries are awesome.

Went there with Mike / Goutless Angler = Good stuff  :smt023....kinda reminds me of Mels Diner in San Francisco :smt007

Those of you coming from lake Berryesa try Parry's Market Pizzarea on the corner of American canyon rd and sonoma blvd(29)
Big slices for $3.50
My favorite is the meat combo for 4.25.  huge slice and filling :smt003
The guy running the place is Italian and sounds like one of the characters from the sopranos. :smt071  He's got good stuff

How about just a good old Double Double at In 'n Out.  I went to high school with Rich and Guy Snyder who's mom and dad started the company in Baldwin park (down South).  I'm not a fast food fan but In 'n Out is definitely s cut above the rest of the "burger joints".  Back in the late 60s, I worked at a drive-in dairy and used to trade the guys milk for burgers.  Both Guy and Richie died young and their mom, (Esther) died a few years back.  I wonder who's running the company today?  Whoever it is, has done a great job of keeping the tradition going.  When I first moved to Norcal, In 'n Out didn't exist up here.  I had to take a road trip just to get a good burger.  Thankfully, business has been good and they have expanded all over the state.  Nothing better than a great day of fishing finished with a great burger!

Whenever we come back form fishing or ab diving we love to stop at the marina in Bodega Bay and get their clam chowder at Spuds
Best around!!!
