Finally picked up my new Fisha. Doing final rigging and hope to get her on the water after VA hospital next week. I love the upgrades over the evolution!
They dropped the weight down, more responsive rudder, dropped the seat about an inch, and widened the foot wells. They also went to larger rod holders.
Will review more after next weekend.

Thanks,I ordered that color after seeing it on the Australian site.

Nice looking yak, though you know I can't be a fan of anything with Orange.
Now if it was Blue, it would get 5 stars.

I wonder why they don't put tank wells and forward hatches on those boats. Seems kind of weird

No room for a forward hatch. The fish box goes over seven feet forward inside. You can stow a limit and carry anything you need inside for clean beach entry and launch.

i hope someday to need a 7 foot long fish box for a 7 foot fish. Preferably a tuna. Why no tank well? Where do i put my milk crate?

[/quote]+1 where do you keep all your gear? Is there padding on the seat?

I think these are beautiful kayaks, congrats cajun!
After paddling a couple, I have to say what has held me off buying one is the lack of tankwell. I could get over the footwell channels I think (though I would prefer a wider deck area to the big hatch).
The thing is, when I checked these out for actual fishing you have to toss your fish in with all your other gear. There is indeed room for it all, but then your gear gets all slimed. I would much prefer to keep my fish up out of the interior. These are only my gripes, for my style though.

Sure is Sexy! :smt007

+1 I love how the Pro Fisha paddled. The 2 things I did not like was their narrow foot wells and lack of tank well. I am glad they made the foot wells wider. Now they just need to add a tank well. That slight indentation on the rear deck seems useless. They need to replace that with a tank well. I too hate putting fish inside the kayak because of all the blood and slime. It is just more work to rinse out the inside of the kayak when you get home.

Awesome kayak ! Now I want to upgrade :smt003 Did you install a backing plate for the rod holders in front of the hatch ? Been wanting to do something similar but just wasn't sure if that area is strong enough by itself .
