Title: Anyone near Davis?

Hey:

I just joined up. I’m Jonathan and I live in Davis. Pleased to meet you!

I’ve been a fly fisherman for years, and recently got into kayaking. :) I own a tandem island but will be adding to the fleet. My joy is being out on the ocean though this year I’ll be exploring more of the delta and maybe inland lakes.

I’ve already taken her out for sturgeon, which was unsuccessful but fun (really showed me I have a lot to learn about kayak anchoring in the bay because those currents are something in this small a boat). Looking forward to hunting striper, sturgeon and halibut, and also going after bass and trout later in the year.

I have a couple of kids that love to fish too. :)

Welcome to NCKA. Check in with Bill at the Headwaters Kayak Shop in Lodi, he does a good amount of fly fishing from a kayak.

Welcome Jonathan  :smt006 There’s an abundance of members here from Sacramento to San Jose area and other parts or NorCal as well. Hope to fish with you in the future

Hey Jonathan,

I'm in Woodland....me and my buddies fish all the lakes and rivers around here, but I love the ocean the most. HMU sometime and we'll fish!

Hey Jonathan! 

I’m in Dixon.  I prefer ocean fishing (Sonoma and Mendocino Coasts).  I haven’t done much freshwater fishing in the past decade, but would like to try stripers and salmon in the delta.

My schedule is pretty open.

welcome mate im located in vacaville and do mostly delta fishing for sturgeon in off season for ocean. let me know if u wanna troll the delta or fish for some sturgeon im usually down if school and work schedule permit
